- How are your prices calculated?
You receive a bespoke price for your individual journey using the booking system at the top of every page. All journeys are calculated on a per mile basis, including your collection waypoints and are per vehicle size not per person. The prices are decided by the individual company in your search results and Drive Me To The Airport have no inffluence on this.
- Do you charge per car or per person?
All prices are per car or minibus. They are bespoke to your journey, depending on passenger numbers, suitcases and start or end points.
- Does it cost more to use drive me to the airport?
No, every operator agrees not to inflate the prices past the lowest that they advertise elsewhere, therefore you should be getting the most competitive rates for each company. Should you find the same journey with the same company cheaper elsewhere please notify us.
- Whats the latest you can book a vehicle?
Earlier is better, but you can not make a booking with less than 24 hours notice.
- I prefer talking to someone can I make a booking on the phone?
No, the entire principal of the Drive Me To the Airport system works upon the use of our internet based systems.
- Am I booking directly with drive me to the airport?
No, drive me to the airport are providing you and your chosen operator with online computer technology. When the booking is completed, we use our bespoke internet technologies to notify you and your operator of all relevant details reference the journey booked.
- What if my driver fails to show?
The system has a facility to leave a review, if you have had a bad experience then please review accordingly to help others in the future. Through a process of natural selection bad companies will fall to the bottom of the search results and if they fall below 50% they will be removed.
- What if my flight time changes?
On completion of your booking you will be provided with all the required contact details for your chosen operator. Please contact them direct to notify them of changes to your booking.
- Do you confirm your bookings?
Yes we confirm all bookings. If you do not receive this confirmation please contact us as we may not have received your booking correctly.
- Are all drivers licensed and criminal record checked?
All operators agree in the T's & C's of joining the site that they will operate in line with local government rules, but they are responsible for their own licensing requirements. There is a mixture of Hackney Plate and Private Hire Operators on the database. All vehicles should have the relevant driver and vehicle license displayed within the vehicle, showing that the driver and vehicle have been strictly checked in line with local government regulations, including a criminal record check. If this is not the case please notify us.
- How can I pay?
We accept most major credit cards when paying your deposit using our online booking system. The remaining balance will be paid directly to your chosen operator, for more details on paying the final balance please look at the individual facilities offered by your chosen operator.
- Can I pay on the day?
All deposits must be paid at the time of booking using our online facility. For the final balance of your booking please look at the individual facilities offered by your chosen operator, if paying cash on the day is important to you, you have the option to filter your results by this facility.
- Do you allow people to smoke?
NO, it is an offence in the UK to smoke in any public passenger vehicle.
- Are we allowed to eat on the journey?
It is up to each individual operator, please ask them on the day.
- What is you cancelation policy?
You can cancel or postpone your booking as long as there is more than 24 hours notice before the driver needs to leave for your collection. All deposits are non refundable and if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice then the full balance of your journey will be due. Please see our

- Can false reviews be left on your system?
We do not operate an open review system. Instead customers are invited to leave a review only when a journey has been booked through the system and completed. We believe this limits the chance for tampering by operators. That said you should always use your own judgment when listening to individual reviews. Our recommendation is that if something stands out as vastly different to what others are saying then you should probably ignore it.
